Country Experiences Weather

Weather occurred across much of the country this week, the National Weather Service confirmed, with conditions ranging from warm to cool depending on where you were and what time it was.

"We are seeing temperatures," said meteorologist Anne Park, pointing at a map. "In many places, those temperatures are seasonal. In some areas, slightly above or below seasonal averages. This is weather."

Residents of affected areas reported going outside, assessing the conditions, and making clothing decisions accordingly. Some wore coats. Others did not. A smaller group wore coats and then carried them once they got warm.

The weather is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, followed by more weather. Long-range models suggest that temperatures will eventually change as seasons progress, consistent with how seasons work.

"There could be precipitation at some point," Park added, declining to specify when.

This is the country's forty-seven thousandth consecutive year experiencing weather. Officials say there are no signs of it stopping.
